Athena Reader is committed to providing high-quality products and services. We understand that a product may not always meet every user's needs, and we have therefore established this Refund Policy.

1. Scope

This policy applies to memberships/subscriptions and value-added credit packs (such as AI credits, OCR credits, and extra storage) purchased through the paid channels within the Product.

2. Memberships / Subscriptions

1. Within 7 days of purchase, if you are dissatisfied with the membership and have not materially used the paid benefits unlocked by the subscription, you may request a full refund.

2. Once you have materially used the paid benefits during the subscription period (for example, consumed the AI/OCR quota included in the subscription, or used extra storage), whether and how much can be refunded will be assessed based on actual usage.

3. Due to the nature of digital goods, we are generally unable to offer refunds after the period above.

3. Credit Packs (One-Time Value-Added Quotas)

Credit packs are one-time, consumable digital goods. Unused packs may be refunded within 7 days of purchase. For packs that have started to be consumed, the consumed portion is non-refundable, and any remaining portion is assessed case by case.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not available where: the request is past the applicable period; the service was suspended or terminated due to a violation of the Terms of Service; a one-time quota has been fully consumed; or the refund policy is being abused.

5. How to Request a Refund

Please contact us at support@athena-reader.com with your account email and order number. We will process your request as soon as possible after verification. Approved refunds are returned via your original payment channel; the time to arrive depends on the payment provider. Execution is subject to the technical limits of that channel: channels impose a deadline for returning funds along the original route, and a refund must fit the channel's settlement arrangements for the day, so an individual order may arrive late or need to be returned by another means agreed with you — we will contact you if that happens. Once a refund completes, the membership period and any unconsumed quota attached to that order are revoked.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may adjust this Refund Policy from time to time and publish it within the Product. Refunds are governed by the policy in effect at the time of your request and by applicable law. Where this policy conflicts with mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction, those laws prevail.
